With millimeter wave and terahertz power, noise, waveform, material and other key parameters as the research objects, the team aims to break through the bottlenecks in the traceability of millimeter wave and terahertz, as well as the key technology for sensing, in order to meet the metrological requirements of millimeter wave and terahertz technology. This team has independently developed a complete set of standard devices of measurement instruments sensors, thereby overcoming the technical problem in the traceability of series of quantity values and forming reliable capabilities. And the team has greatly improved NIM's measurement capabilities and international impact in the fields of millimeter wave and terahertz through international comparisons, paper publications, patent applications, CMC reviews etc.
