National Environmental Monitoring Centre and NIM Signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

On October 31, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation framework agreement agreed by the China National Environmental Monitoring Centre (hereinafter referred to as the "Monitoring Centre") and NIM was held in the Changping campus of NIM.

Chen Shanrong, Director of the Monitoring Centre, and Fang Xiang, Director of NIM signed the framework agreement on behalf of the two units. According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate in ways of strengthening top-level coordination, joint research in major scientific research fields, training and exchanges of talents, and transformation and application of research achievements. On the basis of high-level research, all-round service application and personnel training, joint efforts will be made to improve China's quantity value dissemination system of environmental monitoring values, enhance the quality of environmental monitoring data, and establish a cooperation platform known as "NIM - National Environmental Monitoring Network" cooperation platform, so as to accelerate the traceability of China's environmental monitoring data in meeting the requirements of NIM national measurement standard and the highest national primary standard.
